Most stock traders trade a variety of stocks – banking on profiting those that skyrocket. This is how I started my trading career. I knew little about stocks, only from what I learned through my finance classes in university.
Upon watching a football game, a thought came over me: everyone has their place on the field. Each player has their position that they carry out, which applies to all sports. In football, the quarterback is responsible for leading the offensive players and calling the play. While in baseball, the pitcher has the specific goal of retiring the batter.
This translates into other fields… doctors can decide whether or not they want to choose a specialization like neurology or cardiology. Lawyers choose between criminal defense or construction law. Civil engineers vs. mechanical engineers… you get the point. Practice makes perfect right? Specializing in a field makes us experts in said field.
So why don’t we do that with stock trading?
Why waste our time and energy on trading multiple stock options?
Doesn’t that seem like gambling to you?
Trading one fluid stock option can help improve your trading strategy. It can give the trader insight to its patterns and historical data. Not only that, but traders are now more invested than ever to analyze the stock options pattern. Traders are able to set up their own custom metrics and keyword signals to keep up with related news on the company that may affect the stock.
At the end of the day, all traders have the same goal: profit while minimizing risk.
So why do we risk big to invest in different stock options?
Being an expert of one stock option seems like a no brainer to me.
